Once you have added special access permissions for students, they are listed in the Special Access section.
Select the boxes beside the appropriate students’ names in the grid and click Save.
Use the View By and Search For options to locate the students to whom you want to give special access.
Select the Date Availability you want for the special access students.
Click “ Add Users to Special Access” to select the students.
All the other students will NOT see this folder on their Beachboard pages.
Allow only users with special access to see this folder – This allows ONLY the special access student access to the folder.
Allow users with special access to submit outside the normal availability dates for this folder – This allows everyone access to the Dropbox folder but sets up Special restrictions for the selected student.
Click on the Availabilities Dates & Conditions tab located on the right side.
Click the arrow next to the Dropbox folder you want to edit and click Edit Folder.
You can also add special access after a folder’s end date has passed for students who have a legitimate excuse for missing the deadline or for students you want to submit additional material, such as planning notes or a bibliography. For example, you could extend the deadline for students who require remedial help or who are submitting work beyond the original scope of the assignment. Special access permissions allow you to set different availability dates and times for specific students.
